How to verify your reservation

Every DummyFlyNStay document carries a genuine booking reference. Anyone — you, or a consular officer — can confirm it directly with the airline or hotel while the hold is live. This page explains exactly how.

How a consular officer checks your document

  1. Find the booking reference

The PNR (flight) or confirmation number (hotel) is printed prominently on the PDF, in a monospace font, together with the traveller's surname.

  2. Check with the source

For flights: the airline's “Manage booking” page (PNR + surname) or the GDS. For hotels: a call or email to the property with the confirmation number and guest name.

  3. Confirm the details match

Names, dates and route on the reservation should match the visa application form. Our documents include these verification instructions on the page itself.

What a flight reference looks like

A PNR is a 6-character alphanumeric code. Two examples of the format:

ABC123 · XY7Z2Q

Verifying a hotel reservation

Call or email the property, give the confirmation number and the lead guest's surname, and the front desk can confirm the booking, its dates and its free-cancellation status.

Verifiable while it is live

Held reservations expire automatically after the hold window. Your document states the validity period — if a consulate checks after it lapses, contact us and we will re-issue for your new dates.

Our promise

If a document we issued cannot be verified while it should be live, we fix it or refund you. That guarantee is written into our refund policy.
