Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about held reservations, visa applications and how DummyFlyNStay works.

Is this legal?

Yes. Visa codes such as the Schengen Visa Code ask for a reservation or booking, not a paid ticket. We provide exactly that: a real reservation, held temporarily, with a verifiable booking reference. You are responsible for the accuracy of everything else in your application.

Is this a fake ticket?

No. A fake or fabricated ticket is a document that does not correspond to any real booking — submitting one can lead to refusal and a fraud record. Our reservations are genuine bookings held with the airline or hotel under a real reference that the consulate can verify while the hold is live.

Will the embassy be able to verify my reservation?

Yes. A consular officer can check the PNR on the airline's website or through the GDS, and can confirm a hotel reservation directly with the property using the confirmation number. Our documents include instructions for exactly that.

How long is the reservation valid?

Flight holds typically remain verifiable for several days up to two weeks depending on the airline and fare; hotel reservations stay live for the period booked with free cancellation. Your document states the validity window — plan your appointment inside it.

What if my visa is refused?

A refused visa is not grounds for a refund: the reservation performed its role as a supporting document. If our document itself was not accepted or could not be verified, our refund policy applies — see the refund policy for the exact terms.

Can I actually fly or stay with this reservation?

No. A held reservation is not a ticket and not a paid hotel stay. It expires automatically. If your visa is granted and you want to travel, you buy your own ticket and book your own accommodation.

How fast will I receive my document?

Within about 30 minutes of payment in most cases, by email, as a PDF. Your account page shows the live status, and the booking reference appears as soon as our back office confirms the hold.

Which visa types do people use this for?

Mostly Schengen short-stay visas, UK Standard Visitor, US B1/B2, Canada TRV, Japan tourist and India e-visa applications — anywhere a consulate asks for travel and accommodation proof without requiring prepaid tickets.

Do the names on the reservation have to match my passport?

Yes — exactly, including middle names. A mismatch between your reservation and your passport is one of the most common reasons a visa file is questioned. Our booking flow warns you at the traveller step for this reason.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Before your reservation is issued, yes — contact us and we cancel the order. After the document has been delivered, the service is considered performed; exceptions are listed in the refund policy.
